ChinaPDYE

1 Year chart.

3 Months.

This stock was in my list for few days. I just not manage to buy in. I had mentioned in my earlier post that it is forming an uptrend recently. Today, price surge to 0.26 with huge volume support, extra-ordinary huge volume. Vested today. and hope can see more upside ahead.

IPO price is 0.27
PE is 7
Dividend Yield is 4%.

Not bad in terms of FA and their business outlook.
Close at 0.265 today. Happy.

Courage Marine (IV)

Look at that ! A wonderful break through. I added more today.

Hope to see price about 30 cents soon !

LMA Int'l (II)

The chart is just too slow. Infact it show a doji.
I called this a misterious doji. A new uptrend could be start from there

Let's see ...

Let's talk about Baltic Dry Index

The Shipping NewsThe best economic indicator you've never heard of.
By Daniel GrossPosted Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at 5:11 PM ET

Baltic Dry Index: Not a Latvian deodorant The leading economic indicators—which serve as the foundation of massively important political and economic decisions—can frustrate even the wisest economists. They quibble over whether the payroll or establishment employment numbers make more sense and wonder whether consumer confidence figures measure anything more than sentiment. The figures of the gross national product are consistently revised.

As part of a new (extremely modest) effort to bring clarity to the bewildering maze that is the global economy, Moneybox is launching a search for obscure economic indicators. While less followed and hyped than their more famous brethren, OEIs may nonetheless provide insight into certain sectors of the U.S. and global economies. This column will be the first in an occasional series about these odd but helpful numbers.
placeAd2('news/slate','midarticleflex',true)

Today's OEI: the Baltic Dry Index.
Baltic Dry isn't a Latvian deodorant or an Estonian cocktail. Rather, it's a number issued daily by the London-based
Baltic Exchange, which traces its roots to the Virginia and Baltick coffeehouse in London's financial district in 1744.

Every working day, the Baltic canvasses brokers around the world and asks how much it would cost to book various cargoes of raw materials on various routes—150,000 tons of iron ore going from Australia to China or 150,000 tons of coal from South Africa to Taiwan. Brokers are also asked to consider variables such as the type and speed of the ship and the length of the voyage.
The answers are melded into the BDI, which appears in shipping publications such as
Lloyd's List and on the screens of information vendors such as Reuters and Bloomberg. Because it provides "an assessment of the price of moving the major raw materials by sea," as the Baltic puts it, it provides both a rare window into the highly opaque and diffuse shipping market and an accurate barometer of the volume of global trade.

The BDI is a good leading indicator for economic growth and production. After all, it doesn't deal with container ships carrying finished goods. It deals with the precursors to production: bulk carriers carrying building materials, cement, grain, coal, and iron. Unlike stock and bond markets, the BDI "is totally devoid of speculative content," says Howard Simons, an economist and columnist at TheStreet.com. People don't book freighters unless they have cargo to move.
Because the supply of cargo ships is generally both tight and inelastic—it takes two years to build a new ship, and ships are too expensive to take out of circulation the way airlines park unneeded jets in the Arizona desert—marginal increases in demand can push the index higher quickly. And significant increases in demand can push the index sharply higher. That's precisely what happened earlier this fall. As
this chart shows, the Baltic Index doubled in September and October—an unprecedented jump.

Does this chart represent a Nasdaq-style bubble or a demand-led structural change? The summer did see a pick-up in coal and grain shipments to Europe, due to the heat wave, and China's humming steel factories are consuming massive quantities of iron ore. Those could be blips. "But it's not just iron ore and coal," says Michael McClure, vice president of Navios, a ship broker. "The strength can be seen among all the major commodities that ocean freight is carrying."

The real force behind the BDI's rise may be China. "To put it in extremely simplistic terms, China is importing huge amounts of raw materials and exporting manufactured goods, and that's drawing ships into the Pacific," says Jim Buckley, chief executive of the Baltic Exchange. The Wall Street Journal led today's "Money and Investing" section with an article on China's insatiable demand for raw materials. The Baltic index divined this trend several weeks ago.

As they say on CNBC, what does this mean for you? In this
article from late last year, Howard Simons charted the index against the Dow Jones World Equity Stock Market Index and U.S. Treasury 10-year notes. His conclusion: "It's a very good leading indicator." Movements in the Baltic Index tend to precede movements in global stock markets. But the index also tends to presage higher interest rates. When more stuff is being shipped around the world, it needs to be financed. And that creates a greater demand for credit.

So the shipping news—at least as measured by the BDI—is largely good. Even better, it may be a sign that China's trade deficit may be declining. The downside: China isn't sucking up raw materials in vast quantities from the United States. (We export grains and soybeans to China, but not coal or iron ore.)

LMA

A bit lazy today to type out the FA analysis that had been done...

Company had share buy back few days ago. Last week market is in consolidation, it is not suprise to see a few black candle there, but the gap is not close indicate that investor is still holding. It had been 7 days since the last long white candle, overall market seems to be bullish, LMA will soon, back to the track of uptrend.

Vested today. Hope to earn some small profit.

Courage Marine(III)

Yes ! The chart show an uptrend is started to form.
Hope to see more upside coming.
Today closed at 0.245, which is a 6 months highest price.

Vested and sit to enjoy the coming dividend, 6%. Cheers !

Jadason

I had been in/out this counter for few times, the recent trade done was enter at 0.23 and exit at 0.29. Following by that was market correction, glad that i exit at the right time.

After 1 month of consolidation, Jadason close at 0.24 today. Can see the buy strength is getting strongly and strongly.
Most stock in SGX had been follow the trend to move up, this one still lag. Unreasonable for it to stay at current price level (below 0.24) for too long. Anyhow this stock had been recommended as "buy" in the beginning of the year with good business prospect and funtalmentally healthy.

We shall seen it moving up soon.

Not vested yet,

Contel (III)

Yes ! This white candle in a good sign in a bull market like this, it indicate investor has confidence and paying attendtion on this counter. Profit-taking still not over yet, but base on the slowly building up volume and pushing up share price, an uptrend is closed to confirm.

Cheers ! Vested since 0.205.

Sony: 1,000,000:1 OLED TV on sale in 2007 (3 mm thick )

I am so shock when i see this news.

1 year ago, there is a factory set up in Singapore major in doing research & development as well as manufacturing for the thinest LCD screen OLED. Initially it was told that this technoloy will be used on mobile devices, and today it came out to be a colourful LCD screen.

Let me tell you how this thing look like,

"....
Sony is once again showing off their beautiful OLED TVs we first peeped at CES. No surprise there, after all, we love to gawk at that incredible 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio just as often as possible. The real news is that Sony is finally ready to move an OLED TV into production. Sorry, not that bad-azz 27-inch model capable of Full HD 1080p. Nope, instead they'll be pushing out the 11-inch pup sometime "within 2007." We're talking 1024 x 600 pixels slathered across that wee 1M:1 contrast panel capable of 8-bit RGB color and covering more than 100% of the NTSC color gamut. Oh, and the display itself measures just 3-mm thick. Hot-freakin'-tastic. Unfortunately, it will likely suffer from a high price tag and short display life. Still, you'll be tempted, especially after seeing the set's razor-thin display in a profile shot after the break -- yeah, dramatic viewing angles too. Oh, Sony, why must you taunt us...."

and it the thickness of the LCD screen is only 3 mm. Suprise huh ?

Tell you what, there go our CRT TV.......

This product will be pushing out to the market in this year 2007. I presume it will only happens by end of the year. The question now we should ask is,

What is the cost for making such a slim and fascinting product ?
Which SONY partner doing OEM for them will benifit from this new product..... ?
When CRT TV go down, which company will be affected most ?

See if we can find it out.

Aztech

Aztech.....

I buy this stock when it share price fell to 0.07 two years ago. That time Aztech modem is hot in Malaysia, they having business in co-operate with TMNET, one of the leading and almost the only one ISP in Malaysia. Aztech share price surged to 20 cents after showing a strong recovery in business and profi few weeks after that. I took profit when price go beyonds 20 cents.
Since then i only play shorterm on this counter. It always in my watchlist and news about this company new product seems never end. It reported on news and new product had been seen puting on shelther of shops selling IT devices.
Internet Socket, Wireless Router, Voip Product, Dect Phone,.......
and today, this is what we have,

Aztech launched new product RC Helicopter.

Memtech

Watch out guys !

Dividend had been declared 1.3 cents SGD tax-exempt, and the current stock status is in CD now.

Div % = 6% with current share price 0.210.

There is a company call "Keytech Investment", had been buyimng a lot when price drop to 0.195 - 0.205. I believe this company had collected more in the past few days, looking at is chart, once the selling preassure let go, this stock price will surged.

ChinaPDYe

This is a china company, specialized in providing printing and dyeing services and the production and sales of print and dye textile products.

Looking at this performance,

Listed on Sept 2006, IPO price 0.27 SGD
Turnover : 610M RMB (decrease 10M RMB compare to last year)
Net profit : 75M RMB ( increase 7.9%)
Total Number of Shares : 384M
PE : around 5
Div % : 4%

At this point of time, i wont say ChinaPDye ( China Printing & Dyeing ) is a gem ( as turnover decrease ) but TA wise, it show a strong reverse signal.

I have contel ,courage marine in my list, so i am not vested at this one yet.

Let's see how it will perform tomorrow. At this point of time, we are still not sure what is the goods behind causing 18M share done today ( one of the top 20 high volume of the day).

Hope can see more upside coming....

Courage marine

Courage marine.

A stock that i am looking at. Charwise looks like going to breakthrough. I am patiently waiting...

TA wise,
Total number of share : 1,058,829,308
Divdend : interim dividend (not tax applicable) of US (cents) 0.47
final dividend of US (cents) 0.94
turnoverv 2006 : 75%
NTA : 6.82 US cents
EPS : 2.62 cents

In that case, calculated PE based on share price 0.22(Sing dollar) will be =
(0.22/1.5 exchange rate)/ 0.0262= 5.6

Total Div = (0.47 + 0.94 )/100 X 1.5 = 0.0215
Div Yield = base on share price sing dollar 0.22 ,
0.22 / 0.0215 = 10%

PE is 5.6 and div yield is 10% , .....
well this stock is good for long term indeed. Hope the business is continue to grow.
